Rambler Rocks Contest

This is the season that we all slow down a little bit and take notice of all that we have and give thanks. This Thanksgiving season, join BOB Gear and the thousands of people spreading joy by painting Kindness Rocks, hiding them and sharing the fun! There’s also a chance to win a brand new BOB Rambler jogging stroller.

Contest Now Completed!

The BOB Rambler Stroller is the newest jogging stroller in the BOB line up and one that parents will be super thankful for!

We want families to tell us what they’re thankful for. Is it the ability to “Explore”, “Smile”, “Laugh” and “Love” with their little ones? We want to see what you come up with by declaring it on a Rock… a #RamblerRock.

All images posted to Instagram using #RamblerRocks or uploaded to Woobox between November 7th and 27th will be entered into a drawing to win a new BOB Rambler Stroller! Read the official rules here.

Here’s what you’ll need to create and design your own #RamblerRocks to hide and post for all to see.

Steps to Create Your #RamblerRocks
Find or purchase clean, flat, round and smooth rocks to the rock painting event.

(You can also look at a landscape store for a bag of smooth rocks)

Supplies needed:

Oil based, non-toxic paint pens

Supplies needed:

Foam Brushes

Supplies needed:

Mod Podge Sealer

Supplies needed:

Scissors to cut out the BOB Logo labels.

Optional Supplies for pre-cleaning and extra decorating:

Dish Soap, Water, old Toothbrush, Dry Towel, Acrylic, non-toxic paint

Step 1:

Clean and dry the rocks that you brought for decorating. Mild dish soap, water and a toothbrush should work.

Step 2:

Paint and write your message of thankfulness on the front.

Step 3:

Write #RamblerRocks on the back, but leave room to Mod Podge the BOB logo in the middle.

Step 4:

Brush small amount of Mod Podge on back of rock and place the cut-out BOB Logo on the glue to set.

Step 5:

Brush 2 thin layers of Mod Podge sealer OVER the entire surface of the back of the rock, making sure to smoothly apply over the BOB logo so that it’s clearly visible.

Step 6:

Allow to dry. 10 – 20 minutes.

Step 7:

Turn rock over to the front and brush 2 thin layers of Mod Podge Sealer over the entire surface of the front of the rock.

Allow to dry.

Step 8:

Parents and kids take a picture of both the front and back of rock as they’re hiding it for others to find.

Be sure to hide them in an urban public area to avoid tampering with a nature trail.

Step 9:

Post pictures to your public Instagram account using #RamblerRocks or by uploading directly at our contest page!
